Shooting an interview here with Patrick Newell in a park. Using my EX1R camera and recording on a KiPro from AJA. This way the material will be PRORES codec, and match that of the rest of the project making editing easier.

In the span of 2 days, we produced nearly 5 hours of High Definition television, with multiple cameras, HD quality graphics from Eduardo and projected by Jason Wik and Richard Bray. We streamed live to over 50 countries in full HD, in 2 languages, and in the process, we pioneered a new kind of all-tapeless-workflow.

Got a new video camera. I am now the owner of a Sony EX1R. A great camera, very flexible and suitable for my production. Best of all, it shoots all formats. Really ALL. In HD 30i, 50i or 25P. In SD both PAL and NTSC in 16:9 or 4:3.

For this reason it is very good for international productions. Whatever need my client have or whatever country they come from to shoot in Japan, I can just set it to the format that they want for their production.

Records on SxS card, can be sent over FTP, dumped to a hard drive or just handed to the client if they have their own card.

Shooting an interview here with my recently bought light kit! (Here softbox for key, Tota with brella for fill and spot for backlight)

Just got this lightkit I ordered from B&H. Four lights, including one softbox and one brella. Still everything fits into a small bag that I can carry.

Industrial jobs are great! Very different from broadcasting, for better mostly.
